After-Hours Medical Care: Frequently Asked Questions
It is a premium, exclusive medical service offering consultations on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) and outside traditional business hours. This access is limited to a small number of patients to ensure unhurried, personalized, and highest-quality care with Dr. González.
It is specifically designed for situations that require prompt attention and cannot wait until Monday, such as:
- Sudden illnesses: High fever, severe sore throat, infections, or acute general discomfort.
- Urgent prescription renewals: Refills for essential medications.
- Avoiding the emergency room: Symptom evaluation to determine if it can be treated on an outpatient basis at the clinic or truly requires a hospital.
Appointments are limited and scheduled strictly on a first-come, first-served basis. You can choose between an in-person visit at our San Antonio clinic or via telemedicine (video call). To secure your exclusive slot and avoid delays, consultations must be prepaid at the time of booking.
- True Availability: Receive medical care on weekends when most primary care doctors are closed.
- Save Time and Money: Avoid endless wait times and the exorbitant costs of Urgent Care or Emergency Rooms for medical issues we can address directly.
- A Doctor Who Speaks Your Language: Complete peace of mind being treated face-to-face by a board-certified internist who speaks Spanish and thoroughly understands the Hispanic community.
